SSI Activity (and its rebirth?)

Is anybody on this list still a member? If so, do you get mailings?
Anyone know how big the membership is these days?

Actually, that was more a rhetorical question. :-) But thanks anyway!
Still, your answer does relate somewhat to how much SSI has stressed
internet activities so far, or not, as the case may be. Presumably if I
wanted to move this forward through SSI I guess I would have to contact
one of the board members or someone listed as staff. Anyway, I remain
conflicted on that vs. just starting a new group (or maybe even
approaching LUF or another space or terrestrial group) for the reasons I
previously listed (historic SSI focus on SSPS and small scale hands-on
lab or launched research, well, and the excellent conference, and how
that relates to what the membership expects).
