Two Queries

All,

Now that the election is over, I have a query for everybody residing in the
United States.

Did you join a major party political campaign? You didn't have to do much --
make phone calls, pass out literature, etc. I've heard that if you want
politicians to listen to you, you have to show up for campaigns. Even K
Street lobbyists in DC take time to volunteer for various political
campaigns.

I also have a second query. This is for everyone.

How many people have read even volume 1 of the Columbia Accident Investigation
Board report?

I've been surprised at the number of people who work at NASA who haven't.
This is particularly depressing since I found out from a friend who works for
the State Department that they are reading the report to get an idea of how
organizations can get really screwed up. Yes, the State Department.
