What's happened to the ssi ??

You might run into copyright issues reposting that stuff (not that I
personally have any objections); the problem with non-profits fading out
is often that they take much of their good writing with them in terms of
ever being able to find someone to grant permissions. I saw the same
thing with the New Alchemy Institute.

I see from Whois that the domain is paid for through 18-Jul-2008, which
is good because it would be unpleasant to have some sort of offensive
squatter on that domain.
