It's true that often there aren't enough choices. (Real choices, that
is, as opposed to a large number of very similar products.) At least
where I live, though, it's very easy to switch to a 100% renewable
electric company, Green Mountain, that operates wind generators in West
Texas. The price is a couple of cents per kWh higher; otherwise, it's
no different than using other electricity providers.

I'm also hoping AC Propulsion will start selling electric Scion
conversions soon, before gas does cost $5/gal. (
