while I agree that solar power is a goood alternative
for clean systems if it could be developed to uyilize
in a more efficient way the resulting sun rays, the
way it is presented is still as a centralised system,
like most of the existing energy genaratuion
centralized systems needs distribution, lose effciency
in the distance, create pollution and needs land ,
cause urban blight and many other negative side
effects
the future is towards a decentralized reusable energy
system.
This menas that every energy needed item should be
capable to generate locally its own energy, if
possible through renewable sources
solar , wind, temperature variation could be some of
the sources
the technology is still not there but i will not be
amazed if some years down the road each of us will
carry on our clothing some energy generating source to
power our cell phones or other portable devices we may
need
for space the same reasoning
local power generation system avoiding the big
centralized ones
