Note this isn't a case of valid infrastructure needs that directly
benefit the community. The objection was to economic redevelopment
which (to my mind) isn't something that is always done very well in
America; it seems to benefit the short term interests of the wealthy -
any community benefits are subsumed to those interests.

In other words - if it's okay to use eminent domain for a water tower,
or watershed conservation, it's equally 'ok' for a Wal-Mart. This seems
not right to some people.
