Property Rights

Company towns have come a long way from the laissez
faire capitalists of the 19th century to the kind
embodied by ARAMCO in the mid 20th century. Of course,
ARAMCO employed basically the top 10% ( IQ wise) and
had to compensate appropreately. In the 19th century,
corps. were looking basically for bodies, strong
backs/malleable minds. We've become accustomed to
government defending our right to decent employment,
something hard won by union rank and file employees
over a century of employer abuses. Hope we don't have
to repeat history in our conquest of space.
