When Worlds Collide Revisited

Hello Once Again,
Isn't it funny that some of the major themes of science fiction are now becoming the subject matter of science articles? Take Rouge Planets as an example. We now have serious discussions going on about the possibility that these worlds may be possible abodes of life. Richard Cathcart's paper on the "Prospects for a Rogue Earth Advanced Technical Civilization" discusses the possibility of Advanced technical civilizations living on such planets.

We may have even discovered one or two examples of Rouge Stars. Now a motion picture called "When Stars Collide" that would be something. A runaway star with planets orbiting it- WOW!!!! Of course one hopes that the collision would be more in the nature of a near miss. Ain't science wonderful?
