Sure. But the news outlets will focus on the media-worthy stuff i.e.
what sells papers. That a buyer for (say) Wal-Mart reroutes the next
six months of lawn furniture from Port of Southern Louisiana to
Galveston, Houston and Beaufort, NC isn't going to make the news. Dog
bites man stories, all of them.
