CYGO KickStart Project

A project is starting on CYGO in the Kick Start discussion area,

The project intends meet most or all of the following goals:

Design a multipurpose automated spacelab
Launch into orbit.
Send to a near earth asteroid.
Demonstrate/test methodologies for;
landing or attaching to the micro-G asteroid,
mining in a micro-G environment,
processing ore into usable alloys,
processing volatiles into water and/or fuel,
molding and casting in a micro-G environment
by creating a coin with the cygo logo on it,
using AI hardware/programming for autonomous operations,
Auto-responder for returning data and/or photos to ham operators,
using solar sails for the return to earth.
Return product, ore and/or volatiles to LEO
Deliver to ISS

This project starts the process of building a space based
infrastructure to support expanded exploration and development in
space. Providing fuel, water and other materials needed by
spacecraft and space stations will benefit current and future space
based operations. This is the first part of a space based
infrastructure that should be developed.

The first phase of the project (creating the project charter) is
underway, and we need your help!

1. Read the project charter posts, feel free to join in and add to
them.

2. This project requires that partnerships be formed between many
different organizations, and we need volunteers to join the project
staff to open dialogs with these organizations.

We need to secure enough partnerships with most of the expertise
required to complete this project before we can complete Phase 1,
the project charter.

We need these partners onboard before we can proceed with Phase 2,
creating the detailed project plan.
