Maturity, ah, what a concept.
It's all relative, you know. To what do we compare our
maturity??? Other space going races? Or dolphins?
Moving into space has nothing to do with running away
from anything. Troubles, we shall always have with us.
Is humanity illogical? Sure, why not. Especially if
the comparison is with Stephen Hawking. Is humanity
immature? Sure, what would you expect? In terms of
average species life times(about a million years)
we're pre-pubescent. Maybe we'll become teenagers
about the time we begin to tame our solar system.
Quit complaining about our lacks. We are what we are.
