Hubble has ever been tasked with this?" Actually, I've since consulted the SSI website, and find that the dissertation concerned theSun-Earth L4/L5 points, not the Earth-Moon ones. How can we know? who have we to ask? and is trully the Hubble able to
see that things? I've passed your questions along to Dr. Lee Valentine, who is the only one I know who might know something about this. Whatever info he can provide, I will pass along to the maillist. I also mentioned that I was debating Dr. David Criswell about the relative merits of LSP and L-SPS. (Criswell is now telling me the cost of power from the former would be 1/50 the cost as from the latter, though I'm still having a hard time understanding how.) If Dr. Valentine has any light to shed on that debate, I'll pass that along as well.
