Space Mirrors

Thanks for the input everybody. I see now why mirrors are a bad idea.
It's that pesky ole atmosphere again; useful for breathing and
radiation shielding but gets in the way of the fun stuff like power
and weapons.

So even though the atmosphere seems transparent, it is actually rather
opaque to much of the EM spectrum. There is only a small window in
the short wave radio band, useful for power transmission but not so
good for weapons. Darn! ;-)
