Arthur you are correct, I was being too optimistic on that point.

I will post more details later.

The satellite will need to switch rectennas about three or four times
per orbit, about every 90 minutes. This would involving slewing the
antenna. Then the antenna would need to rotate an average of a
couple of degrees per minute to keep the selected rectenna on the
boresight.
