I lived in a floating city for over 3 years - the aircraft carrier USS John F Kennedy."She" was decommissioned earlier this year. It may not be too late to save her from the scrap yard.

There is a large area on the flight deck for crops. The hangar deck could also be used for crops with artificial lighting or crops that require less light. There are many other large areas available.

The enclosed volume is huge! She used to be homefor more than 5,000 men. She ought to be easily able to supportseveral hundredpeople.
