Funny, none of the cited surveys appears to have asked the respondents if they would like a nuclear power plant within 5-10 miles of their neighborhoods. I wonder why not?

A given nuclear power plant is limited to neither 1 GWe, nor only 1 reactor unit. 60,000 GWe could be provided by 6 10-TWe plants, 60 1-TWe plants, 600 100-GWe plants, 6,000 10-GWe plants, etc. Here, for example, is Palo Verdes, rated at 3.2 GWe:
