I am not sure that either of these claims will hold up in court. I
don't expect anybody to bother doing so however.
The first is a phased array antenna. The difficulty is in correctly
matching phase between multiple transmitters. What is needed is a very
accurate clock, a very accurate distance measurement, and a
communications method/ control that keeps the whole thing working.
The second is just a reapplication of existing technology.
These claims have the look of what gets created as intellectual property
so that investors feel that there is something ? real ? in the company.
I think it is a silly investor requirement resulting in a lot of junk
IP. However it is currently one of the check boxes that has to be done.
