Hello All:

I have just uploaded a few files into a new folder in this group's files section.

The first phase of this system's development was the basic numeric simulation and a small version having either one (1) or two (2) masses testing the so called "Slip / Stick" concept often commented upon in NASA BPP documents.

Once satisfied with that, having made a small wagon move across the room, and noting the "Slip / Stick" process with one mass and its elimination with Two, but with non steady acceleration, the second larger ABS cased WIP unit was built.

Phase two.

This unit was tested with 1, 2 and 4 masses and matched the numeric simulation for RPM and thrust type. 1 = S/S, 2= No reverse thrust but non steady acceleration, 4= Almost steady acceleration. +- a few poinds.

This unit also passed the pendulum test.

1. It did not swing back past the center line.
2. It stayed at its offset angle as long as it was turned on.
(Til I spun the bearings and smoked the motor)
3. It was not a "torque effect" as the design generates a
thrust in the same direction with the motor wunning in
either direction of rotation.
4. "Point pressure" on the ABS case was enough to warp it so a new alloy case was built.

This unit was sent out for independent testing.
Thrust was verified.
Complete digital thrust testing rig and optimization program designed.

Internal mods were built that increased thrust.
Patent application and publication done.
Upgrade of numerical simulator.

Flight system, WIPCraft power systems and control integration designed and built in X-Plane simulator.
Both a manned unit and a small low cost RPV, LLC class,
Lecture at NASA Ames on successful test program to this point.

Next phase if optimization of improved unit, new motor and continuation of thrust program at higher thrust levels.
