I am afraid you have misinterpreted the operation of the unit.

ACTUALLY HS, these two things the "long arm" and "Short arm" are the END RESULT of EQUAL acceleration and deceleration of the masses during rotation.. they are the SAME arms.

EQUAL.

And, you will notice that the arm as it is shortened the mass wants to increase in speed, just as a skater increases rotational speed as they pull IN their arms. This translates as additional accelerating torque to the lengthening arm that wants to slow, nearly equalizing the force. Just as a skater's WHOLE body accelerates, NOT just their arm.

With the "shortening arm" shedding torque and the "lengthening arm" requiring torque, the system is balanced.
The speed at the Fulcrum / gear drive does NOT change and the torque does not change significantly.

Yes, we DID consider these forces AS you see, they are minimal.

And the radial forces are still VASTLY unequal.
