True, but there are limits in terms of what temperatures the solar cells can tolerate. One of the virtues of the earlier SPS designs was that they put, at most, perhaps 3x normal solar flux on the cells. So they enjoyed the operational simplicity of passive cooling of the solar array. Im not so sure about the more-recent designs. Active cooling (if required) strikes me as a significant complication. Does anybody happen to know if active cooling is required on either this design or that design with the 2 rotating 45-degree-angled primary mirrors?

Interesting because mirrors are cheaper than solar panels.
