what would a hull breach in a space colony look like?

I've started this discussion on the High Frontier forum:

...But I thought there might be some people here who have some insight
on it.

The question is, suppose a small asteroid or largish piece of space junk
impacts your space colony at high speed, punching a hole through the
hull. What would this puncture actually look like? Would it be bent
in, or out? Or something else entirely?
