But these are things they already deal with with the rodents on ISS --
it should be the same or easier under these conditions, since the cages
(and mice) are under artificial gravity most of the time.

But yeah, you're cleaning the cages out (and replenishing food/water) in
microgravity, and that's not a job I envy. :) Your sister probably has
more insight into how this is done than any of us.
