Yahoo groups appears to be shutting down, wheto migrate?

If what Im seeing on another Google Group Im on is correct, it is NOT the case that Google Groups is going away entirely. Its just that the archives of
past E-mails (and also I suppose pictures or other uploaded files) will no longer appear on their website. We should still be able to use our E-mail clients to send to and receive from the SSI Group.

But I will look into seeing if theres a way to download archive files of our past correspondences, just for research purposes. If that can be done, Ill keep
an archive file at my end, but will also urge someone at the SSI end to do same.

Will keep you apprised of what I find, and steps I have taken.

So apparently Yahoo has graciously decided it's going to kill of Yahoo Groups, and rather quickly at that.

Will the SSI folks kindly archive the contents and provide guidance to where to migrate to?
