My Great and Glorious SPREADSHEET!

Well, Great and Glorious may be a bit much, but I'm still rather
proud of it. It gets the job done. My pride is tempered by the
nagging suspicion that there must be a better way to do it. But
anyway, it gets the job done, it's in the "Files" section, and this
is how you use it:

See those two spaces outlined in red? Put numbers there. Put the
number of G's you are willing to endure (or that you are willing to
subject your payload to) in the space to the right of "G's" (cell B1)
and the length of time that you are willing to put up with that kind
of acceleration in the space to the right of "Seconds" (cell B2).
And the spreadsheet tells you how much track-length you used (this is
for a maglev thingie), what your final speed is, and even converts to
English units! That's all there is to it! Kewl!!

Well, maybe not quite. In cell B5 you have to modify the formula
according to what you put in cell B1, or the length stuff will be
inaccurate.

For instance, if you want to accelerate for 5 seconds, the formula
would be: S(M6*9.8*(B1))

For a minute? S(M61*9.8*(B1))

Basically, you use S(M~however many seconds plus one~*9.8*(B1))

And it only goes up to 15 minutes of acceleration: S(M901*9.8*(B1))

Again, I suspect that there is a better way to do this, and it would
be nice if you could, for instance, fill in the track length and G's
and have the spreadsheet tell you time and final speed, or G's and
final speed and have it tell you track length and time, etc.

Am I wrong in that, if you have any two of these numbers, you can
calculate the other two? It seems to me that you could, *if* you are
not a math idiot like me.
