How to build a PressuVessel?

While agreeing that this "Mobile Suit Gundam" page is a treasure trove of
High Frontier-type technical details, the problem is that these details are
interspersed with totally fictional details relating to a science-fiction
universe (with no distinction drawn between). Therefore, I wouldn't
consider in an authoritative source. What I was curious to know is: Was the
glass thickness ever stated in O'Neill's Physics Today paper, and I just
overlooked it? Is it in The High Frontier, or some other work published by
O'Neill or anyone else involved in the original studies?

I consider it a significant point, because Zubrin has assured all Mars
advocates that they can safely leave any thoughts of growing crops on either
the moon or in space totally out of their thinking because the glass would
just have to be too darn thick. He seemed to realize that this was in fact
not the solution to the radiation problem proposed by O'Neill, because he
then went on to say that the idea of mirrors the size of cornfields was
simply absurd.

Many Mars advocates feel justified in leaving almost everything else but
Mars out of their colonization concepts because Zubrin has convinced them
that there are only two places in the entire solar system where crops could
be grown: Earth and Mars.

A question that every Mars proponent truly hates to hear out of anyone is:
What are the marketable exports for Mars? Zubrin says there'll be a
triangle trade amongst Earth, Mars, and the asteroid belt, with the belt
selling minerals to Earth and Mars, and Mars selling food to the belters.
But if O'Neill is right, belters will grow their own food locally. If so,
then Zubrin's entire trade argument collapses.

I was suprised too, In fact the first time I saw the figures I misred
them and thought the windows were only 3m thick. But the glass panes
are built up from 3m cubes of vitreous sillica glass. They way Dyffed
Dyar wrote his page I thought that he was refering to O'Neal when he
was discussing this construction. I got it from here
