buran space bus?

nah, market won't dissappear unless we have a series of accidents. Didn't
someone mention the dangers of bungie jumping, climbing Everest, scuba
diving, para sailing, white water rafting? Yeah , one of the trips with 50
pax goes "boom" it may discourage the feint hearted, but lets get real....
this is not something that scardy cats would ever have signed up for in the
first place. Those folks if they win a ticket will auction it off to a
wealthy bidder, getting them a wind fall $4-$8 million for their
trouble....not bad deal.

With all the talks of high jackers and suicide pilots taking over commercial
airliners, traffic did drop down , but there was still a core that kept
flying because it was integral to their nature or desires. There are still
those that will think, "what the hey. you only live once!" and consider the
historical foot note in space venturing they would be and the insurance
payoff to family left behind.

With the next successful launch, it would be business as usual I
believe...remember we only got 50 seats and say 12-rides a year
optimistically with the one orbitor...out of a world population, 600 seats
a year will still have quite a demand, dont you think? :-)

Humans will go to Space, all our science fiction books etc wont suddenly
quit. As long as stories are still circulated, Star Trek and Star Wars
glamorize space in movies, I dont think any accident will create a paradigm
shift in our dreams of going into the heavens.
