Oh, it wasn't (as I hope I've already made clear in my backstream
response to your backstream query).

We ARE planning to do these things. We just haven't moved yet beyond
the planning stage, largely due to lack of funds -- we decided VERY
ealry on that we were gonna bootstrap this thing, since damn near any
grant we could apply for has attached to itrestrictions we consider
unacceptable.
