O'Neill colony construction

First, I would say you should read High Frontiers by
O'niell. That is a good leaping point. Then check
out the references he himself makes as well as those
essayist make in the newer version of the book put out
by Space Frontier Foundation.

Next, you can start googling on island three, torus,
island one and keywords like that. You'lkl get much
better results. A quick google on "island three
torus" came up with

Hope that helps! If your an engineer, I'd also go to
your nearest college library and start going through
peer reviewed journals for studies on just what you
are asking about.
