Constructive Criticism for the Orions

No, No, I'm not. I just thought through the implications of your
policies and thought I'd point them out to you, hence the reference
to constructive criticism in the title. Look to the other points I
raised and think it through for yourself. Your group's philosophies
have a number of internal contradictions and I'm curious how you
plan to resolve them.

Personally, I'd stay very far away from an Objectivist society, and
I've found it's as fruitful to engage in political debate as it is
religious, so I don't. People believe what they want.

I was hoping you'd see the inherent contradiction in the social
communitarianism you advocate and the Objectivist political
structure. The harshness of Objectivist philosophy would be reduced
by the social compact, and you wouldn't be practicing true
Objectivist government.

It's very hard for me to take you seriously when I read this. All
these code words may trigger the believers in your group into
action, but as for me, I just shake my head in bewilderment. Just
like the Democrats who are wild for Howard Dean because he speaks to
their issues, the broad middle of the populace just can't embrace
those extreme positions. If you want to convey your beliefs and have
them taken seriously you've got to make an effort to lay out your
position sensibly to the borad middle.

I really don't know where you've been socialized, but ALL of the
bright people I know are being very well rewarded in their
professions, are doing very well financially, and do not feel that
they are crippled and rotten to the bone.

You're talking past me to some other audience. Perhaps they know
what you speak of.
