I did the equations for this before I started my website. I calculated that
Venus could collect only 200 moles of Hydrogen in a single orbit, from the
solar wind. Mars being further from the sun, where the solar wind is
thinner, would collect even less.

That was assuming a zero magnetic field around the planet. If the planet
has a magnetic field it would be even less still.

The equations were rough but the values were so low that I haven't
considered them as a practical solution.

It all seemed to hinge on the density of Hydrogen in the solar wind.
