Dunno 'bout you, but I sure sleep better at night knowing that a poor
single mother living in the only neighborhood she can afford (an
underclas, chroncially crime-ridden one), and who once shoplifted a
package of lunch meat for her kids (a crime by today's definition)
and suffered from postpartum depression (a mental illness by today's
definition) following the birth of the third child she couldn't
possibly afford to either abort or support, now cannot buy a handgun
as reassurance against the next round of drive-bys.
