want to guide their children away from those same life lessons. Why
it never occured to them that their parents may have also learned
from their own mistakes and wanted to guide their children away from
sorrow ( and joy.) What makes the modern day parents think that they
can change the process of growing up? Probably the same process that
made them think that they discovered sex back in the 60's, 70's and
80's. The kids need to figure it out for themselves. The parents
are just being hypocrites - though I will admit that the thought of
little Sally boinking some guy in the back seat of his Honda turns
parents into nervous nellies. There is a better way - honest
recognition of teenage sexuality.
