Venus is about 5000 times as massive as Ceres. If Ceres can produce 150
times the surface area of the earth (see the bottom of Al Globus'
messages), then Venus could produce a surface area about three quarters of
a million times that of earth. Quite a lot more than the one of
terraforming.

I am not advocating this, since there is plenty of material out there
without using Venus for a long, long time. But, I would rate it ahead of
terraforming.
