Introduction

Hi,

Actually I was looking for an eGroup on the musical duo Orbital, but
somehow I ended up subscribing to this group. Space settling looks
quite interesting to me.

Recently I joined a group called The Intelligentsia Network, which is
a network of futurists. We discuss anything that is considered
futuristic, be it art, technology, society or whatever.

The concept of space settlement fits right into our ideas of future,
but most members of the group hope it is possible to 'heal' the world
also, by controlling polution, birth, diseases etc.

About me personal: I am 27 years old and live in Rotterdam, The
Netherlands. I am a civil engineer in roads, sewers and residential
estate constructions.
