One wonders why the same small 'robot craft' cannot move hubble near the ISS, where astronauts living there could fix it. Sure the hubble is a little old, but it's still useful and if it's life can be extended another five or ten years by a ton or so of payload I'd say that's worth it.
Maybe they could replace the cameras with something a little less sensative and sell it to news services? The ultimate eye in the sky? ^.^ But of course nasa could never do anything so sensable...
As I feared, reinventing the wheel every five miutes and atomic rockets all the way. :(
