in a teacup. When we say early or late it all depends on the time
frame we are talking about. When I said early, I meant it from a
perspective where space exploration is viewed over a period of
thousand, ten thousand and twenty thousand years. My hope is that we
will see the advantage of moving industries to space and protecting
the natural environment on earth.

There won't be rebellion, or revolt, or what ever. For any dirt-side
rulers, if the colonist agree to relenish control of the SPS systems,
and too generally stay out of the way, the hell with the colonies!

The only possiblity of conflict is some kind of breach of
contract/the inablity of a colony to honour debt. But by 200-300
years after conpletion, those issues would mainly moot.
