Would WalMart sign up?

Walmart wouldn't sign up for these, they're too high ticket for Walmart.
For these things think Sharper Image, Franklin Mint, etc.

If you want Walmart's ubiquity you have to get something very low cost.
And even then Walmart will squeeze your margins beyond pain. You should
only be using Walmart as a sales channel if you've exhausted all of the
others and you are willing to let them commoditize your brand.

The best way to think about these things is to what you're own personal
behavior: what are the big ticket items you have bought lately? Who did
you buy it from? Why? Etc. Think, for example, why people prefer
Starbucks over Maxwell House?
