Helium 3 moprofitable from asteroids

You're just not looking at the whole picture, Ryan.

Getting Helium-3 from Asteroids would be more profitable and the
return on the investment more immediate and the operation less
hazardous than the moon.

Serious investors will go for the asteroids -- not the moon.

Asteroids and their associated dust particles have the Helium-3.
This is easily picked up by these bodies. Pointing out the surface
area of the moon is just rediculous considering the moon's gravity,
the terrain transport energy involved, and the associated cost in
propellent for over-land or leaving or landing on the moon. With
asteroids, you have flexible working conditions where you can take
advantage of zero-G and employ as needed just about any G you want
or might need.

The other materials at the asteroids is just another reason you'd
pick them as your center of mining operations. You don't just have
Helium-3 available that's worth anything.

Moon miners cannot compete with space miners. In real competition
with space miners, they'll fail and fail terribly. I feel sorry for
them.
