The general rule is there's a fool around every corner but if you're
going to stick it to the big guy you better come prepared with
something more than fancy tap-dancing and your mouth.

These people are not the dummies. They want the white paper and
engineering drawings and plenty expectation of profit. They're
harder to fool than your run of the mill space enthusiasts. They
want detailed plans and everything backed by reputable engineers and
accountants.

The money is in asteroids and space development, including SPS,
tourism, etc.

With the general (well-off at first) public you push the space
cities and "your own space craft". They'll eat it up.

With a contest, you let some in free.

Or at least point at. It's been done before, so it's a relative sure
thing as to actually getting there at least. Plus the moon actually
stays where it is, for the most part at least. For large parts of
their orbit asteroids are far away from earth. At the end of the
day, though minning on the moon sounds like science fiction, to a
conservative business investor it sounds like slightly better
written science fiction than mining asteroids. Which is a concept
that no-one important has *ever* heard of.
