produced, and that takes energy instead of giving it. AFAIR, Helium-3 is an
unstable isotope and so the natural supply on Earth vanished a long ago. The
Sun is continuously producing it and releasing the stuff along with the solar
wind. However, few or no Helium-3 reaches Earth because of our magnetosphere.
In the Moon and other vacuum-exposed objects with no magnetosphere, on the
other hand, some types of rocks get "soaked" with Helium-3 over time.
I guess that it is all. BTW, now I am too lazy to check this information in
the Collective Brain (Internet) so maybe I wrote some major bullshit above...
