There is no need to land on the moon. Material can be shot up by mass drivers.

All of these except the first reply to SOME asteroids. I was asking about
most of them. Besides earth-passing asteroids are here today and gone
tomorrow. A lot safer to work on the moon.

Besides right now we have not gotten a person even to Mars, let alone the
Asteroid Belt.
