Moon Gamma-Ray Spectroscopy

That's why monitoring of asteroid miners by earth government(s) is,
I believe, a very strong possibility whether the miners like it or
not.

But, like you said, this will probably be no sweat for some time.

Hopefully, though, we don't wait until there is a big disaster
before monitoring begins, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's
exactly what happens.
