Mars and Island One

That's not even the worst I've seen recently. There's still a thread going
on one of the space newsgroups started by someone of this ilk saw an article
mentioning that NASA was consulting with Halliburton on technologies which
might be useful for future Mars rovers which might need to drill down into
the soil. In a flash, they immediately saw the Truth: Halliburton controls
NASA, and the push to Mars is only so that they can go there to steal the
oil. (!)

I really, really hope that these people are just trying to be funny, or that

they don't vote. Where in the heck do they come up with this stuff? Numerous

contradictions in the same paragraph, wacky conspiracy theories, etc...
