$250,000???? Sign me up right now!!!!! That's way cheaper than most
houses I know of here on Earth. :-) LOL.

For the first Island One, I'd figure something more along the lines
of $500,000,000,000 for the first 10,000 people, which would be
maybe 4,000 households, so that's around $125,000,000 per house.

Of course the 2nd Island One won't have to carry the cost of
building out the lunar/asteroid mining camps, the refineries and all
else. They'll probably cost 1/10 as much, so about $12,500,000 per
house.
As more people live in orbit their wealth creation activities will
allow them to amortize the cost of their supply infrastructure in
more favorable terms and adding mining capacity to existing outposts
will be cheaper than starting one from scratch.
