Hi Joe, Omar,
Any takers? I don't think the money should be put into making a spacehab immediately, better to concentrate on a good launch system first, or a modest space hotel.

to promote ventures of great importance to humanity; in the era of
the internet that should be possible. Religious denominations seem to
know how to collect money for their various schemes through public
subscription, aerospace ventures could attempt the same
route........... that will of course mean convincing society at large
about the great importance of humans becoming a spacefaring species.

Well... Donate to your favorite non-profit that is actually doing
something. There are a few out there.

ones income to God. I don't know how many people do that. But if a
million people contributed a thousand $ every year you would have a
billion $ / year. Something to think about !!

The tithe is debatable even among Christians. I've heard preachers
(Christian preachers mind you) state that it is one of the biggest
frauds in the Christian church. This group isn't about religion
though so I won't bore you with any more.
