A quite simple answer. We don't know.
might not adapt to living even in low gravity. The only way we'll
find out out is by large numbers of people living in low or zero gravity.
We could end up with different races of people.
I think low gravity would lead to longer life. I could be wrong.
We can discuss this until the end of time. The only way to be sure is
to try all the possibilities. No, it won't be safe. Life usually isn't.
When I was a boy 50 -60 years back, we were a lot more casual about
things. We were snowed in. My brother had a nasty fever. Years later,
two of three doctors thought he had a heart murmur. So he flunked his
army physical.
WhenI was five, we had bee hives near the house. I rapped on them
with a stick. My parents pulled hundreds of stings out of me. Afraid
I was dead for a while.
