I mentioned in an earlier note that we might end up with two species
of humanity.

Think of HG Wells' Time Machine with the people of Earth being the
squat, muscular Morlocks while the aristocrats are tall and slender.

Many people would probably welcome extra years of life, even at the
cost of exile.

Though short visits would be possible. But probably not pleasant.
