Alternative Island 3

Another idea that I find mentioned from time to time is to go ahead
and leave the windows just as big as ever, but recess them somewhat,
so that they are "below grade." Then cover them with water and build
beaches on either side. This way, you have three large bodies of
water, suitable for swimming, surfing, boating, etc. The other
benefit is that you don't have to use any of your "valleys" for lakes
and such (though some babbling brooks and waterfalls might be nice).

Any reason this can't be combined with Tango's curved, uses-a-bit-
less-space idea? Take his design(*) and recess the curved windows.
