True, and he's one of the few who give Konstantin Tsiolkowski anywhere near
the credit he deserves. My point was more about Clarke putting the same
ideas into print, just a couple of years before O'Neill's group started
researching his "Is a planetary surface the right place for an expanding
technological civilization?" question. So, it makes me wonder if Clarke's
book didn't play a role in pulling some of the ideas of O'Neill's group
together, or influence/inspire some of the group.
