A geosynch satellite can only over a third of the globe (not counting the
poles, of course). That is why, if you want to cover the whole globe, you
put up a trio of satellites.
I would assume that energy received will be shared by all, simply because
each receiver is going to be 'shut down' whenever its power satellite is in
shadow. Shared problem should create a shared solution.
